Our matcha is grown at an altitude of 400m in the Southern Alps of Shizuoka, which boasts some of the highest tea plantations in Japan. This unique environment, with cool misty mornings and evenings, and hot days, is perfect for growing organic green tea.

At Ocha & Co., we are located in Japan and have daily contact with the tea growers, ensuring that the teas are promptly shipped to our warehouse in the USA. We speak Japanese, eliminating any language barriers. Our matcha is harvested early in the morning, delivered directly to the factory, and quickly steamed to seal in the freshness.
